Expanded Role at CCYHA for Kyle Althen

The Columbus Chill Youth Hockey Association is proud to announce the expanded role of Kyle Althen who will serve as the primary skills coach for the 2015AA and 2013AA teams during the 2024-2025 season.

Coach Kyle brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization, particularly with his extensive background in coaching and player development. With his previous experience as the hockey director at Battery Hockey Academy and current head coach for the 15O AAA Blue Jackets, Coach Kyle is well-equipped to take on his expanded role, leading practices and development for the 2015AA and 2013AA CCYHA teams. His background playing hockey (and growing up) in Ohio, understanding of youth development, and his coaching and scouting experience in various leagues, makes him a valuable asset to not only CCYHA players, but the coaching staff associated with each team.

CCYHA is fortunate to partner with a coach like Kyle, who actively invests in the development of central Ohio youth hockey players and providing opportunities for both players and coaches to develop under his leadership!
