Emily Moersdorf Named Girls Hockey Coordinator

Emily began her coaching career with CCYHA under the Sting program, where she has worked with teams ranging from U12 to U19. Most recently, Coach Emily has been involved with CCYHA's 19U Blue Jackets, as well as serving as the program's primary goalie coach. A coach with 10+ years of experience, she's not only dedicated her time with CCYHA, but also plays a key role in girls hockey growth through the Central Ohio Girls Hockey Association (COGH), as well as having an impact in goalie development throughout central Ohio.

“Given her knowledge and experience on the ice and her drive and motivation to grow the best girls' program around, CCYHA is looking forward to adding Emily to our leadership team" said Bryon Moore, CCYHA President.

Coach Emily grew up playing hockey in Columbus, even playing on the first girls team established in Columbus with CCYHA. She played ACHA D1 with The Ohio State Buckeyes, where she was the captain for her junior and senior seasons. She is a level 4 USA Hockey coach and has years of experience with the youngest of hockey players all the way to the adults!

CCYHA will host all girl travel teams at the 10U, 12U, 14U and 19U levels for the 2023-2024 season.
