CCYHA Events
CCYHA has historically hosted special events to bring the organization together outside of our normal team activities and as the landscape of recreation hockey changes, will continue to find opportunities to connect with our recreation players and families. With the popularity of our Mite Jamboree last season, CCYHA is pleased to announce the Jamboree is back, but will encompass Mite and Squirt players!
The Jamboree should not conflict with the regular season programming offered by the Blue Jackets Hockey League and will be open to all 8U Mite (2015 & 2016 birth year) and 10U Squirt (2013 & 2014 birth year).
We encourage families to check back for other opportunities throughout the season to continue your player's development

All players registered players should be receiving an email today with their team assignment. If you do not receive an email, please email ccyhainfo@gmail.com. Please arrive to check-in and receive your game jerseys.
As noted in the schedule below, there will be a parent meeting during the first ice cut in each division.

Ages & Cost
MITE JAMBOREE: Open to 7- and 8-year-old players who have completed at least Learn to Play 3 or currently participating in the Blue Jackets Hockey League or a Battery hockey team. Birth years of players should be 2015 or 2016.
SQUIRT JAMBOREE: Open to 9- and 10- year old players who have completed at least Learn to Play 3, currently participating in the Blue Jackets Hockey League, Battery hockey team or Squirt Travel Hockey. Birth years of players should be 2013 or 2014.
COST: The cost per player is $30, which includes the player's registration and a jersey.
When & Where
The event will take place at Chiller Dublin on Tuesday, December 26th starting at 10AM (Mites) and 10:30AM (Squirts). Each team will play three games (two 20-minute running time halves). Teams will be randomly selected in an effort to balance competition level and provide a fun day of hockey.
The goal of the event is a fun-filled day of hockey, while parents and players can learn more about CCYHA, our partners, and plans for the 2024-2025 travel hockey season. Coaches, players, and board members will be on-hand to answer questions families may have as they prepare for the upcoming hockey season!
