COACHES

Our volunteer coaches are the core of our hockey program. We are fortunate to have many parents that have skills to share and are looking to develop our hockey players. Parents interested in volunteering should register to coach at the link below.

JERSEYS

Every player will receive a jersey and socks before games begin and are included in the registration fees.

EQUIPMENT

Players should wear full protective gear in order to play safely and enjoy the sport.  Equipment includes the following:  stick • skates • shin pads • hockey pants • hockey gloves • protective cup • elbow pads • shoulder pads • helmet with mask.

Players interested in being a full-time goalie should purchase their own equipment as CCYHA does not typically provide equipment for full-time goalies due to the different sizes of the players and should get used to their own gear.

Detailed information on where to purchase or how to put on hockey equipment can be found our Equipment Page.

TOURNAMENT TEAM HOCKEY

Players interested in additional ice time are welcome to tryout for our Tournament teams. There is only one team per division and families will incur additional costs.  Selection occurs during the first month of the program through a tryout. Tryout dates and fees will be announced soon.
