House Hockey
CCYHA's house hockey program provides players with an opportunity to develop in a competitive environment by providing a challenging, fun, athletic team atmosphere that provides lasting benefits to each player.
All players are placed on teams which participate in the Columbus House Hockey League. This allows for a greater level of competition playing against other central Ohio teams.

14U teams is a mixed aged division.
PRACTICES

GAMES/LEAGUE PLAY
Every team will play approximately 14 or more games in the Columbus House Hockey League. Games will begin in late October.
COACHES
Our volunteer coaches are the core of our hockey program. We are fortunate to have many parents that have skills to share and are looking to develop our hockey players. Parents interested in volunteering should register to coach at the link below.
JERSEYS
Every player will receive a jersey and socks before games begin and are included in the registration fees.
EQUIPMENT
Players should wear full protective gear in order to play safely and enjoy the sport. Equipment includes the following: stick • skates • shin pads • hockey pants • hockey gloves • protective cup • elbow pads • shoulder pads • helmet with mask • mouth guard.
Players interested in being a full-time goalie should purchase their own equipment as CCYHA does not typically provide equipment for full-time goalies due to the different sizes of the players and should get used to their own gear.
Detailed information on where to purchase or how to put on hockey equipment can be found our Equipment Page.
DEVELOPMENT TEAM
Players interested in further development are welcome to tryout for our Development teams. Families will incur additional costs in addition to our house program. Selection occurs during the first month of the program through a tryout. Tryout dates and registration will be announced soon.
